Learning to Sing by Heart (A collaboration with the nonprofit JAMS jamsmusic.org/)
Learn how to use the musical instrument everyone plays... your voice! In a warm, welcoming, lighthearted setting, students will learn the basics of vocal pedagogy and musicianship. Along with learning a song as a group, each student will get the opportunity to sing a song of their choosing in front of the class while Mrs. H gives them an individualized coaching. A gentle, community-based approach to understanding our unique musical instruments, this is music education you can learn by Heart.
Tuition: $25/class*

Baroque-ing Boundaries Voice Camp (A collaboration with the nonprofit JAMS jamsmusic.org/)
From the Beatles to Beyoncé, modern popular music has given a not-so-subtle nod to the world of what is referred to as Classical music. In this innovative workshop, students will take a holistic approach to music exploration through movement, art, listening, and more!
While exploring music from various genres, students will make connections between the different styles while also having fun and connecting with each other. Students will explore healthy vocal technique and musicianship while learning the Baroque art song, Caro Mio Ben, referenced in the popular song, Daughter, from the recently released Cowboy Carter album by Beyoncé.
Tuition: $150
